Here are few simple tips and step by step screenshots to reset hauwei sim-locked usb modems permanently blocked if after trying for 10 times, that is after carelessly exhausting the default ten (10) times attempt to provide an unlocking code
Many factors cause hauwei 3G usb modems to permanently get blocked and render useless. First, if guess an unlocking code even when its imei number has not been used to generate this codes. Second, using wrong imei number to mistakenly unlock your modems.
All hauwei usb modems used fourteen (14) imei number to remotely get its unlocking codes.

Step 1

You will need to manually or autoselect the usb COM PORT so that the modem can be read. See image below for help
Step 3
After selecting COM PORT tab, click on READ MDM DATA, after performing this action, your modem details as Model, series, IMEI, Serial number etc. should display on your PC. See Image below for help
Step 4
Now select RESET MODEM Counter from the unlocker tabs and Cick on SERVICE. See image below for help
After a complete reset of your modem lock counter status, your will see this on your screen – SUCESS RESETTING LOCK COUNTER OF MODEM. Please see image below for help

So I should repeat all the procedure right from the start each time I put my PC on. Is there any solution i.e. firmware update(or downgrade) via the Huawei Modem Unlocker or some other stuff? I tried so many times but that’s impossible to update or downgrade firmware simply by using it’s own *.EXE file since after the flash code is entered and the modem firmware is backed up the process is interrupting and it’s says Failure.Then the modem dissapears from the system (Win 764 Pro) until it’s unplugged and plugged in back again. Pls help me if it’s possible.

im using AIRCEL 3G DONGLES E1750C. it shows that the attempts wer completed and so i wanna reset the counter in it.but the Huawei Unlocker 5.7 doesn’t support this model.i have the latest version Huawei Unlocker 5.8.1 also, but it does not have option such as RESET COUNTER. can u solve this problem!!!?????

The new Huawei E303 is not responding to any software, including this one you recommended. To be sure, the software generated the unlock code and it’s the same with all others I have generated online and from other software. But it cannot unlock Huawei E303. Please carry out more research.
